Blue Door

by Tanya Barfield

directed by Jessica Finney

Featuring David Eulus Wiles and Eric Avery

An African-American math professor struggles with his most challenging
equation. Left alone by his wife after refusing to join the Million Man
March, Lewis watches as the ghosts of his ancestors shatter the silence of
his insomnia. He is drawn into a spiral of history, a crisis of identity and
culture and an exploration of what it means to be black, then and now.

Blue Door is an exuberantly theatrical work about the black male experience in America.
